Job Description
Role purpose:
As part of the optimisation team he/she will get acquainted with and contribute to the different aspects of the Radio network tuning and optimisation activities. Work to achieve responsible area performance KPIs targets and responsible for enhancing and maintaining the quality figures in the whole network from customer perception point of view as well as statistics point of view through daily monitoring of the network performance to identify problems that might affect the network quality and take the necessary action to reduce them.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Plan and carry out hands-on optimization activities to achieve the assigned KPI targets
• Own the Strategic and Advanced Network Optimization, policy and best practices development and implementation of 3G/4G network
• Carry out Advanced Database Audits independently in addition to the basic database consistency audits in order to ensure streamlined parameters optimized to deliver best network performance
• Based on in-depth knowledge of signalling and protocols, perform advanced KPI and Drive Test Signalling analysis, identify room for procedure and performance optimization and obtain high performance levels through soft parameters optimization actions
• New feature trials in addition to optimization of existing features in order to obtain its maximum benefit

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Have not more than 7 years of total hands-on experience in RF Optimization, mainly on Huawei equipment on international projects
• Must have in-depth knowledge of advanced parameters, control switches, and features of Huawei SRAN 17 and above and good ability to read and comprehend WireShark traces
• Must have a positive work attitude, good communication skills, high motivation, energy, and ability to deliver under pressure
• Have excellent reporting and presentation skills
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• An Engineering Graduate from a reputable engineering college
• Have obtained certifications in RF Design and Optimization training courses
