Job Description
Role purpose:
This role is responsible for the End to End design and architecture of Vodafone Qatar IS domains including digital & channels, VAS, Integration, CRM & Sales, Billing & Charging, Big Data and DWH. The function is responsible for ensuring all design & architecture work is carried out to the highest standards, technology roadmaps are fully compliant with Vodafone Qatar business requirements and Vodafone Group Technology 5 years strategy.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
• Deliver E2E design and architecture roadmap covering all IS domains according to Vodafone Qatar and Vodafone Group technology 5 years strategy
• Ensure all solutions, products and services designs are compliant with the E2E architecture roadmap
• Responsible for reviewing E2E production performance and provide solutions related to design and architecture
• Review and approve all design and architecture related to all new platforms, solutions, products and services
• Provide leadership for deep technical domain understanding, leadership and future direction in core technologies
Key performance indicators :
• Deliver E2E Architecture and Design covering Vodafone 5 years strategy
• Provide architecture and design solutions for production performance related issues
• Review and approve all design and architecture related to all new platforms, solutions, products and services

Dotted reports: All SMEs and solution architects
Core competencies, knowledge and experience :
• Broad and deep understanding of core technologies (Digital& Channels, Sales & CRM, Integration, Billing & Charging, VAS, Big Data and DWH)
• Complex Telecom solution design experience
• Proven, innovation/start up based experience, who has leveraged technology for competitive advantage
• Hi-end research and development experience very advantageous
• Leadership, creative thinking and business relevant competencies will be advantageous
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in Telecom architecture & design
• Expert in at least two of the following domain areas (Digital& Channels, Sales & CRM, Integration, Billing & Charging, VAS, Big Data and DWH), with at least 5 years experience of these subjects
• Relevant certifications and qualifications will be advantageous
• Telecommunications / technology focused industry experience mandatory
