Job Description
Role purpose: To manage all BI requirements from business units, prioritize, rationalise demand and to proactively identify best solution. Deliver the same with help of offshore team.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Prioritise and manage delivery of MI reports development and deployment
• Drive BI solutions for meeting the business BI requirements
• Build & enhance self-service capabilities
• Ensure all reports requirements are solution and fulfilled for all product launches
Key performance indicators:
• Timely delivery of all BI reports requirement across business function
• Manage reports development in cost efficient way with offshore team
• Enhance self-service and deploy advanced reporting tool features
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Strong Telecom and, & BI domain knowledge
• Experience of managing a diverse team with offshore delivery responsibility
• Experience of creating, deploying and maintaining the internal processes
• Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills
• Project management
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with telecom performance KPIs calculation and reporting (both mobile and fixed line)
• Reporting tool expertise on OBIEE, Cognos, Sap BO. OBIEE is strongly preferred.
• Expert Oracle PL/ SQL skills
• Good Knowledge of Data-Warehouse principles
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent presentations and writing skills
• Ability to work with different groups and levels
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Strong data analysis skills
• Model Development & testing experience
• Advance MS Excel skills.
