CREATIVE EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF – HIGH END RESTAURANTS – QATAR!
Very exciting new position for an Executive Pastry Chef who has the culinary expertise and experience to make a wide variety of desserts, chocolates and baked goods, including confectionery work!
The Executive Pastry Chef is the person in charge of the Pastry area in the 2 restaurants and you will be responsible for developing menus, food purchase specifications and recipes and supervises pastry kitchen staff. You will develop and monitor food and labor budget for the department. The Executive Pastry Chef maintains highest professional food quality and team motivation & training!
What we are looking for in our ideal candidate:
- High end restaurant or hotel Pastry experience – strong career in top venues creating stunning pastries, chocolates etc
- Proven working experience as a Head Pastry chef – 10+ years of experience
- Excellent knowledge of pastry and chocolate preparation
- Excellent record of kitchen management and keeping up with cooking trends and best practices
- Understanding and knowledge of health & safety, sanitation and food handling procedures is a must
- Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal is a must
- Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
