Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is an award winning subsidiary of Qatar Airways, the national airline of the state of Qatar and currently operates at the Departure, Arrivals, VIP and Premium Terminal of Hamad International Airport. As one of the fastest growing Duty Free operations in the world, Qatar Duty Free operates from the new Hamad International Airport (HIA). HIA is also home to the newly created QDF Food & Beverage Division which will set new benchmarks in airport hospitality.

About Your Job:The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the restaurant operations, leading the team to achieve maximum sales goal, efficiencies and high standards of operations. The Restaurant Manager will also be in charge of the business performance of the outlet, as well as, maintaining high standards of food, service and health and safety.

You will ensure that all guest feel welcome and are given attentive, friendly and courteous service at all time as well as ensure that the food preparation team follows the restaurant receipts, including presentation to ensure food & beverage quality. You will support your team to ensure effective operation and service standards are always met exceeding guest expectations.

Additionally you will be managing the restaurant inventory and receiving, by complying with the company’s policies.

About You:In order to apply for this position, you would hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management and should have a minimum of 4 year’s experience in a similar position. You would have proven record of managing Bar & Restaurant Operations and would be be familiar with HACCP standards.
