Reliability (Systems & Component) Engineer

Participates in the monitoring, recording and analyzing of reliability parameters. Establishes alert values and proposes adjustments whenever necessary to the Reliability Control Committee (RCC) for improvement of KAC fleet efficiency .
2. Tasks and Duties: .
A. Assists in providing technical assistance, advice and direction to other Reliability Engineers in the unit over their work activities .
B. Studies service bulletins/letters, in-service activities, etc .
C. Vets component removals and strip reports daily and takes necessary action(s) .
D. Ensures that informative strip reports are received for all controlled components sent for repair and overhaul .
E. Liaises with KAC workshops and maintenance and outside repair and overhaul agents to solve component problems .
F. Contacts and visits manufacturers, vendors and other operators to solve component problems .
G. Compiles and issues Component Unscheduled Removals Report quarterly to be submitted to the DGCA, CAA and KAC management.

1. B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering OR Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Double Licenses) with equivalent technical knowledge .
2. 2 years’ Civil aircraft maintenance experience .
3. Good knowledge of English .
