KAC150728090749 – Aircraft Planning Engineer
Carries out aircraft maintenance planning activities for an assigned fleet of KAC aircraft. Includes , preparing work packages and their amendments, preparing lists of spares, tools and equipment prior to scheduled maintenance, raising dispensation requests to assess special projects such as A/C’s Lease operation .
2. Tasks and Duties : .
A. Prepares maintenance work packages for assigned aircraft, inclusive of routine maintenance cards, modification/special inspection cards, clearance sheets etc. Reviews the work of subordinates’ engineers to ensure that all packages are complete and technically in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and airworthiness standards. Also gives work assignments to update work packages and other documents based on revisions to maintenance schedule or other recent technical developments .
B. Prepares lists of spares of equipment required for scheduled maintenance, modifications, or special inspections. Also checks with Hangar Maintenance Supervisors, Materials, or other engineering units to ensure that tools, spares, and equipment are available prior to maintenance activities .
C. Raises dispensations as required, and prepares all required documentation to support such requests. Coordinates with Quality Control until requests have been actioned.
A. B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering OR Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with (Double Licenses) with equivalent technical knowledge .
B. 2 years’ airline engineering planning and maintenance experience(civil aircraft) .
C. Good knowledge of English .
