KAC150727070733 – Power Plant Planning, Engineer
Handles the planning and monitoring of the operation of aircraft power plants, and ensures the accomplishment of maintenance requirements on aircraft engines and APU’s in accordance with the maintenance schedule. Forecasts and schedules engine or APU’s removals, specifies the required work scope, and routes same to the applicable maintenance center. Follows up and controls work progress to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft engines and APU’s to support the corporation’s operational requirements .
2. Tasks and Duties : .
A. Prepares engine and APU removal forecasts in accordance with the Maintenance Program, and monitors installed engines with regards to their operational life and maintenance requirements .
B. Plans and schedules engine and APU removals, prepares work plan and the required work scope, and routes the engines APU’s and components, to the applicable Maintenance Center .
C. Plans and acquires resources by coordinating with the Engine Overhaul and Materials Sections, and ensures preparedness for the engine and APU maintenance .
D. Schedules maintenance work through the shops, controls work progress effecting the required adjustments, and ensures completion of work and on-time delivery of engines or APU’s as per the maintenance plan.
1. B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering OR Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Double Licenses) with equivalent technical knowledge .
2. 2 years’ airline engineering planning experience (Civil A/C) .
3. Good knowledge of English .
