Job Purpose

 As the Pushback Operator you will be responsible for performing all aircraft gate pushback and towing activities, driving & operating diverse Pushback tractors, both conventional and Tow-bar-less types

Inspect all assigned (pushback tractors) PBTs and (tow bar less)TBLs and aircraft nose wheel/tow bar to ensure serviceability and that the safety issues, incidents or discrepancies are solved

Carry out gate pushback and towing activities safely and correctly aligned with the standard operating procedures /work instructions provided by the operation supervisor

Identify the different types of towbars and associated connection/disconnection

Identify various permitted tow angles of different aircraft types and the instructions related to the pushback limitations

Provide and operating different types of Ground Support Equipment to operating airlines

Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures, SOP  and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Discuss safety concerns openly and reports them to the relevant supervisor

Qualifications & Experience

 Qualifications

High School (Minimum 10 years of schooling)

Experience

 2-4 years of experience as a Pushback operator within ground handling services and on-job training

Other

Must have a valid UAE Driving license(light vehicle number3/ Home Country Driving License

Must have a valid license for operating equipment (ADP, TTR, Steps, Aircraft Towing , Pushback Tractor (Individual Tractors))
