  • Under the direction of the facility, General Manager, the Sales and Marketing Manager will assist with all pre-opening as well as ongoing operational Marketing, PR and Group Sales activities of the facility.

Act as Marketing Liaison for entire operation

  • Guest feedback set up, monitoring and distribution.
  • VIP program and guide program.
  • Supports and communicates a vision for the operation.
  • Establish, support and foster policies and procedures.
  • Develop the brand awareness of the services, venue, and entertainment.
  • Compose press releases for the express purpose of marketing the Wadi Adventure.
  • Create and execute radio/television partnership promotions for special events and celebrity appearances.
  • Maintain and update media mailing lists for press releases and community leader lists as required.
  • Ensure that only corporate specified and approved logos, colours, keywords, typeface, and imagery are used exclusively and without exception.
  • Build cooperative and productive relationships with internal business partners and external vendors.
  • Prepare budget and Manage resources.
  • Provide input and direction for marketing strategies.
  • Implement and maintain an effective format and interesting content of the website.
  • Support tours for groups, events, parties.
  • Host “mixer’ events for industry personnel.
  • Develop menu packages for group sales and corporate.
  • Develop Team Building programs, birthday package programs
  • Develop associations with tour operators, groups associations
  • Evaluate the need for a complementary newsletter for external communications for the venue.
  • Forecast and plan date-specific affairs (National Day, Eid, etc…)
  • Market the restaurant/meeting rooms for a banquet and group sales including but not limited to trade shows, with professional associations, and to tour companies.
  • Develop cross-promotions and cooperative local campaigns.
  • Develop marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, giveaways, and signage for general restaurant promotion and about specific events as scheduled.
  • Liaison with a design team for promotional flyers, ads, etc.
  • Attain memberships for networking purposes.
  • Participate in groups specific to the leisure operation.
  • Possesses a natural ability to lead in a respectful manner.
  • Demonstrate the passion for the business with integrity and Lead by example.
  • Exercise good judgment abilities when needed.
  • Overview of management process for social websites and the venues online image
  • Coach direct sales team to achieve targeted revenue goals and budgeted footfall for the venue
  • Individual goals and target setting for all sales and marketing team members
  • To carry out Team appraisals, job charts and on-going on the job training for all members of the sales and marketing team
  • Ensure that all Venue specific documentation is carried out to company standards
  • Set personal and team targets for client meetings and contact calls on a monthly basis, to be reviewed and tracked against budgeted targets.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers for special events.
  • Teach, coach, and be flexible.
  • Manage budgets, training schedules, and team members’ reviews.
  • Ensure proper training and documentation of team members.
  • Ensure the safety of customers, team members and that company assets are protected.
