Primary purpose of job
Reporting to Catering Supervisor, Senior Chef oversees the Food production, quality and quantity of raw materials, quality
of final product, and efficiency of display and service of food & beverage. To ensure that Catering crew are familiar with the
day’s requirements, necessary stocks are on hand at the right quality and quantity and fair discipline is maintained.

Experience & Skills
– Minimum 5-7 years experience as a Senior Chef or on a similar position in a reputed Hotel or any organization in the
Hospitality industry. Experienced in International cuisines and specializing in at least two of the cuisines including Middle
Eastern/GCC Cuisine.- Should be able to speak and write English and preferably Arabic. -Works in accordance with
established procedures, planned menus and approved catering/food service standards. -Has considerable freedom in
preparation of various food dishes and in acceptance of food orders.

•High school education or Diploma in Catering /Chef from a recognized Catering College or Institute.
