Department
OPERATIONS ENGINEERING – DUKHAN

Primary purpose of job
1. Responsible to perform the effective maintenance and specialized engineering support for the Process Control
Automation Systems in Dukhan Field to ensure their best integrity, availability and operational performance.
The Process Control Automation Systems, include different kinds and makes of FCS, DCS, ESD, Fire and Gas Systems,
PLCs, SCADA by various reputed OEM’s and their associated interfaces.2. Responsible to implement the corporate quality
maintenance procedures for preventive and corrective maintenance of Automation Control System in accordance with the
approved QP- Philosophy & Maintenance Strategy, OEM’s Guidelines, QP-Corporate Asset / Maintenance Demarcations
and International Standards such as IEC-61508/61511/1131 & NFPA, for Control and Safety for Oil & Gas Industries /
facilities

Experience & Skills
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the engineering/maintenance of various control systems such as Honeywell, ABB,
Yokogawa, Triconex and Rockwell in Oil and Gas Industries.• Should have competent experience with the configuration of
control systems and trouble-shooting and identifying their problems.• Good knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
Arabic is a plus.• Highly desirable to be the TUV Certified Functional Safety Expert (CFSE) or certified Functional Safety
Professional (CFSP) with Certification Professional Engineering License.• Should posses the managerial skill to lead the
team of Technicians and to co-ordinate / interact with personnel in associated sections and departments.• Should perform
the personnel evaluation / appraisals and demonstrates personal accountability for quality of work.• Exceptional
communication skills in English, both oral and written, as well as good interpersonal, presentation and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Control Systems. Corporate Membership of Appropriate Professional
Engineering Institute with Chartered Engineer Status preferred.
