Overall Purpose of the Role
Due to an internal reorganization an exciting opportunity currently exists within the Emerson Automation Solutions Middle East & Africa organization. Reporting to the Middle East and Africa Strategic Account Director, The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) – Dhahran Area will be the key resource tasked with building upon the great work of the previous incumbent.

The Strategic Account Manager will have full Emerson Automation Solutions scope and is focused on leading the development and execution of strategies resulting in profitable growth through increased penetration of the respective Strategic Sites. They will be the guardian of the customer relationship, orchestrating the development of corporate-wide resources to provide comprehensive product, service and solutions to the Strategic Sites; and to optimize the opportunities to create mutually-valued productivity, growth and profitability. The Strategic Account Manager leads the B2B alignment of the Customer Management Team and the Emerson Management Teams to drive the Key Strategic Initiatives or Programs of the Site Management Team in order to position Emerson as the enabler of more efficient and effective business results.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish and develop strong, high level relationships with key leaders within the Dhahran Area of Saudi Arabia including the following departments: (Process & Control Systems, Project Management, Facilities Planning, Procurement and Strategic Sourcing)
- Leverage existing and develop new relationships with key executive decision-makers to position Emerson as a preferred supplier of Technology, Products, Services and Solutions
- Develop and manage the execution of a multi-faceted comprehensive account plan covering all major business units at the site level
- Manage and direct the work and activities of the Strategic Site Team, organize and manage the Team as a single organization focused on the customer’s business
- Ensure BU plans and key initiatives are consistent with account plans and are implemented in a timely professional manner.
- Assimilate BU personnel into the Strategic Account Core Team.
- Understand all aspects of our main Saudi Arabian customers business, market needs and competitive environment
- Create a strong awareness of Emerson Automation Solutions’ capabilities throughout the our main Saudi Arabian customer organization’s
- Develop a true business partnership with our main Saudi Arabian customers
Requirements

A Bachelors of Engineering Degree in relevant discipline

A minimum of 12 Years of Experience in a strategic role in Saudi Arabia

Fluent English & Arabic language skill are a Must
-
You must be prepared to reside in the Dhahran Area and be able to travel up to 25% of the time
