Purpose of the Job
Provide a high level of technical consultancy to bid or proposal processes, supporting Account Managers and providing an interface for the customer in regard to all technical issues in the sales cycle. Improve the knowledge of the sales community about the Cisco product portfolio. Support relationship with key customers and identify technical and market developments.

min of 10 years experience. To support our clients to reach their targets and to continue our global leadership in business solutions, we hire
highly talented and motivated people. Currently we are looking for a Datacenter Systems Engineer to be based in Doha, Qatar.
The Datacenter Systems Engineer, has for primary targets to drive near term and long term Data Centre Revenue and build future pipeline. A
special focus on X.86 Server and DC Networking, SDN, ACI, Storage, Application, etc.. Architectures and Solutions.
The major activities to support these objectives include, but are not limited to: – Own and drive mainly X.86 Server and DC Networking, SDN, ACI and all
related technologies and solutions; on related top projects and customer engagements for Cisco from a technical point of view.
– Be engaged in major customer and partner projects and win them for
Cisco. – Use existing relationship in Data Center Server (!) environment but also on the networking side, to convince about UCS and ACI technology.
– Liaise with peers within Sales, Channels, advanced technology & technical marketing and in other Cisco and partner organizations to drive
solutions as required to close deals.- Develop business potential via a broader influence through consultants
and 3rd party solution vendors and encourage Cisco alignment. – Work with all Systems Engineer in Country to provide pre-sales support. – Work with all Account Managers in Country to provide pre-sales support.- Build business case, TCO & ROI models for top customers- Deliver top executive messages
– Peer with CIO/CTO to meet customer demands and requirement- Ability to articulate value proposition and differentiation
– Work with all functions within Cisco, ie. BU, Advanced Services,Partners, Marketing, sales, etc…- Ability to build plans and drive Eco-Sys partnership
Required Skills & Experience
Min of Bachelors Science and/or Masters of Science from accredited University Min of 10 years experience in related field. Extensive competitive product experience required. Pre-Sales experience required. Server experience, product and end-to-end positioning desired, strong server knowledge required.
CCIE Certification (DC) highly desirable and/or preferred Competitive Certification, knowledge and Experience highly desirable
and/or preferred – Extensive competitive product and Pre-Sales experience required. In-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in more than one of the following datacenter technologies: UCS, ACI, SAN, DC Switching and ANS,
etc.. Must also be motivated, a team player, possess strong commercial awareness, committed to customer satisfaction and able to adapt to an
environment of rapid change. Must possess strong presentation skills, written & verbal communication
skills, and be able to manage customer relations at all levels from engineering to management. Cisco experience, product and end-to-end positioning desired. Also desirable are good time and self management skills, demonstrated
commitment to self-learning, plus any relevant Cisco Competitive and Industry Certifications DC eco-sys partnership, knowledge, and experience.
