Tech.Devp (Airframe, Avionics) Engineer

Monitors aircraft systems performance and their components and analysis recurring defects. Recommends rectification action .
2. Tasks and Duties: .
A. Monitors technical defects pertaining to airframe and systems recorded by flight crew in the technical log on each flight. Follows up rectification action taken by Maintenance Engineers to ensure that rectification work is adequately carried out and, if necessary, issue engineering advice calling for additional work or issue repeat defect notice .
B. Monitors aircraft system performance by analyzing the data recorded by flight crew to identify malfunctions in early stages, and initiate corrective action before actual failure occurs to improve the reliability and economics of operation .
C. Coordinates with Reliability Group Engineer for investigation of technical delays and incidents to aircraft pertaining to airframe and systems and to suggest corrective action for consideration by the Reliability Control Committee .
D. Prepares procedure sheets giving step by step instructions for carrying out various maintenance tasks. These sheets are legal documents used by Maintenance and Shop Engineers for certification of the work carried out on an aircraft or components .
E. Carries out assessment and processing of Service Bulletins pertaining to systems/components recommends actions required.

1. B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Electronic Engineering OR Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Double Licenses) with equivalent technical knowledge .
2. 2 years’ civil aircraft maintenance experience .
3. Good knowledge of English .
